"We were very happy with the offering at this hotel, we were able to secure a room for Friday night on short notice. The staff were very friendly and we experienced the most efficient check in of any hotel. Very quick, no wasted effort, and a friendly exchange with the counter staff. After a change of shift overnight, the staff continued to be friendly and engaging with the customers. The room is as advertised, everything is comfortable and clean. Very acceptable level of quality, it is not...

"We chose this property for location and for the advertised spa but didn’t understand that the staff closed it at 5 pm so if check in is 3 pm and you’re only staying one night that’s a very short time in the hot tub or sauna. It’s a beautiful setting and the breakfast was superb. "

Breakfast also excellent and service was superb. Only disappointment was car parking - from the description we had assumed parking was on site and secure not across the road on the open verge. Very quiet area, opposite a canal with good walks nearby."
