The rooms are clean, the staff are pleasant but there are just too many problems with the rooms. This time the air conditioning didn't work so there was a fan in the room, there was a stron smell of smoke. There hsve been problems in the past with the door locks do now they have installed a key sytem but unfortunately the key is vrry dtiff and it is difficult to...

"Very nicely appointed hotel with helpful and friendly staff. Rooms are large, but the bathrooms seem to be set up mainly for the elderly, with grab handles, very high seated toilets. Our room had a very nice, large bath, but a tiny shower head that pulled out of the bath on a hose with no where to hang it and no shower curtain. No good if you want a shower. Food in the restaurant was very good. Would stay there again. But would request a room with a decent shower."

"A lovely 3* hotel. Immaculately clean, well presented and with excellent service. The fit out of the rooms is new and well maintained; it is a little functional (rather than boutique), in keeping with many modern hotels, but is enhanced by lots of little touches of colour and style (paintings, bed runners, etc). The beds were very comfortable. Food and service in the restaurant was excellent (but if you want frog legs, you'll need to order those in advance!)"

The first room we have been given was not cleaned and very dusty, luckily the staff were very understanding and relocated us in a better room. "Really helpful and friendly staff. Accommodated late arrival by changing rooms so we could stay in the main building. Nice room with large clean bathroom. Comfortable double with 2 good beds for the kids. Nice breakfast with no charge for the kids. Although it is a few minutes off the A6 it is easy to find and quick to get to."

"The photo of the hotel looks great but our room was at the front of the hotel,at the corner of a very busy road,at the exit of the town,so in summer i bet you cant sleep with an open window. The bathtub has been put the wrong way,so when you are sitting in that very narrow bath,the tap is on your shoulder! A bit dangerous if you want to add some hot water.. Breakfast was very good.
