"This was a two night stopover to allow us to ride around the Cantel region and, in particular, the rim of the volcano (long since gone). The appearance of th hotel upon arrival gives little credit for how comfortable the rooms are and how pleasing the restaurant is. It is little surprise that the hotel is used by tradesmen and appears to be full all the time. Very pleased with our stay and would recommend."

"A friendly and helpful welcome to the Hotel and soon booked into our room and explained where to park our vehicle once we had unloaded. The hotel has a very traditional feel downstairs, charming. "Booked and paid for Hotel on the basis of there being a restaurant for dinner( as shown on website) as we had driven 1000 kilometres by car. Upon arrival was informed kitchen not available for dinner. Also at breakfast there was a dog without being on a lead wandering in breakfast room and reception. I had to point out more than once that I have a dog allergy. I wouldn’t stay here again. "

The restaurant has fantastic food and wine, so you don't have to venture too far. The pool and surrounding area is great for lounging around. Overall a lovely stay in Vic-sur-Cere. The decor is a bit tired and dated, but it didn't detract from the quality of service. Highly recommend it."
