"Savignione is a quaint and adorable town 20 minutes by car from Genoa. We spent 4 days here and thoroughly enjoyed the sweet mountain air and the friendliness of the people. Not only Claudia and her husband are wonderful, efficient, friendly, and multilingual, but they also run a tight ship. We felt so at home in this place.The place is a short walk from the town piazza where you can leave/park your car. There is a newly opened pizzeria and Mike’s taverna are great places for dinner. "

"This place is a treasure. My room was fantastic. The staff was great, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. An incredible value in Italy. That night I went to the piazza where the mineral waters issue forth and enjoyed the night life, speaking with locals in my "rotto Italiano"."

"Nice location if traveling by car. The Pension is near the highway. It doesn't have Air Conditioning but the tall rooms and natural cooling work. Staff is very helpful and friendly which makes your stay very cosy. "

"We went to calamandrana to discover my wife's ancestor birth place. The old town was awesome but most incredible was the hotel host Viviana. She help us a lot with the thing we need and explains everything about the town, history and families. Also she ride us to other city to certify some documents and to take the train! If you are going to calamandrana you should defenetely stay here!"

"Great place to stay, modern & also classical country look. Very good baths, rooms were nice and clean. Nice breakfast. Relax & great rest in nature. Its better to drive during the day even with GPS because its a countryside area and many small roads at night make it a longer trip back to the hotel. "
