"The staff were friendly, and it was very central. This is 3 star so some of the amenities were a bit basic (uncomfortable bed but good pillows). Things that could have helped were chairs for the balcony, stronger overhead light bulb in the main room, toaster at breakfast). Convenient for one night."

"The hotel is perched on top of Ascona and isn’t in the old town but is about 10 mins walk down to the centre. There is limited hotel parking to call ahead to reserve it or else pay about 20 CHF per day at an offsite location which was a nuisance. This hotel has the ability to be nice provided it is EXTENSIVELY renovated. It is very dated but not in a charming way, it looks very tired. The bathrooms (& florescent lightning!) are old an cramped. The carpet in the room was also very old (hotels...

"A bit difficult to find as it is in a pedestrianised zone and hotel parking is limited, but the place itself was very nice. Quote a distance from reception to our room in another part of the hotel, but we were right on the lake with lovely views. The room and bathroom were clean and adequate for our purposes (overnight stop). Breakfast was good, and we were lucky with the weather, so ate outside on the terrace. Plenty of restaurants in the area for evening meals."

"Property and location were amazing! Proximity to train station, dining and downtown were also fantastic. Had a bit of an issue with the AC unit, but staff was very accommodating and worked diligently to address! We will be back! "

"Very convenient to downtown Locarno. Staff very helpful! Breakfast excellent! Parking was tough! Very tight access and spaces. Laundry turned out to be one washer and one dryer in the basement. We had chosen the hotel specifically to be able to catch up on laundry. We thought there was a washer/dryer in each unit. It worked out ok, but we were lucky, as this turns out to be a tour hotel with many large groups. We will stay again, just understand the constraints better. "

"We arrived a bit early and we’re not allowed to receive the Ticino Ticket until check in (barely an hour plus later), which would have saved us money we had to pay for Public Transport. To be fair, we were allowed to leave the bags in the office, so that at least helped. Not a bad walk to the train station; the bus station is across the street. AC system had to be restarted due to recent repair to a neighbor unit, but once it was up it worked like a charm!"

Im Bad sind Halterungen lose, und die Tür zum Balkon ist völlig unpraktisch, das sie nach aussen öffnet und somit nur de Hälfte des Balkons nutzbar ist, bei offener Tür. Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig, und die Minibar ist leer. das Frühstück war gut und hat alles was man braucht. Das Personal ist sehr bemüht und freundlich. Nichts testo trotz, ist...
