"This property was a little further out but it was very easy to navigate your way into the center of town-we walked to everything from this hotel! The staff were excellent and the hotel breakfast was the best we had in our travels. We traveled by bike and they had hotel storage and early check in. Would definitely stay again!"

"Beautiful hotel tucked away in the wine-making hills of Ockfen close to the Saar river. From the hotel we visited Trier which was a very nice experience. We visited during end of November, which is low season. The hotel itself is very well maintained, very beautiful, and the staff (like the people of the area) are all very friendly. There are play rooms and a sauna, so plenty of opportunities for relaxing. The hotel has a restaurant which is open to the public. Highly recommend visiting."

Our dinner in their dining room and the breakfast the next morning were excellent. The reception staff recommended that we explore the downtown area and the Bruckentor (old bridge gate), and especially the harrowing but rewarding trip up to the Ruine Grevenburg (castle ruins), and it was unforgettable.
