"This is an absolutely stunning property and it was an amazing place to stay at the end of our holiday. We were met at the gate and given a tour of the house and grounds and shown the many amazing antiques and the unique salons. It was a delight to be here, but there are a couple of things to be aware of when planning a stay. Apart from a lovely breakfast, there is no food available. "What a delightful hotel, with lots of Spanish character in a stunning location on the top of a hill surrounded by a river & old fortified walls. The staff were great and friendly, we took half board as it was a Sunday when we arrived. The dinner was of high quality & quantity as was the breakfast the following morning. "10 minute walk to the historic centre of town over a very impressive viaduct that is purely for pedestrian traffic. lots of places to eat and drink that can accommodate any pocket. "Decent hotel for the price. It was for pensioners. Surprised that there was no A/C. It wasn't too bad the night we were there. The bed was too soft. Reception was nice to change our room to a double bed from 2 twins. As a result, we got a nice upgrade to a room with a living room. Breakfast was o.k."
