"The hotel has a great location. You can get by foot to the town centre in about 15 minutes and the beaches around the hotel are way less crowded than in other parts. There is also a bus station close by that will get you to Binz station as well as surrounding towns and the Rasender Roland. The hotel itself is surprisingly large with a lot of amenities on offer that we didn't have time to check, but there are plenty of restaurants and bars as well as fun activities within the hotels perimeters....

"Very friendly staff, amazing location on canal. Room was large and very comfortable. Restaurant is excellent. Had dinner there two evenings and tried five different dishes - all delicious. Some of the best food we've had in Germany. Lots of nice walking paths - along the canal, beach area, to local ruins of a monastery. You can reach the innercity of Greifswald by bus - about 25 minutes away."

"It is a particular style of decor throughout the Landhaus (everything about knights, and middle ages - all fake etc) that isn't appealing to me. The room was on the ground floor, you couldn't open the curtain or the window because everyone could look into our room and it was somewhat stuffy. "I payed for the room in advance, but i was charged again upon leave. It was recognized in the last minute and promised to refund me in a week. "Own car park with ability to reserve a space, friendly and helpful staff, lovely spacious room (properly set up for 2 people!), good breakfast and we had a super dinner at the Binzer Hof one evening. The shower was one of the best we have come across for water pressure and temperature and the beds very comfortable. No bar in the hotel but minibar in the room and very reasonable prices. 2 minutes walk to the centre of the promenade."
