"This property has all it takes to be a beach paradise and doesn't cost a fortune (thus you should forgive some minor faults). All the rooms have a sea view, the pool is almost straight out on the beach, and the beach itself is spectacular. It also doesn't feel like a chain resort, which in my opinion is a big plus. Only two hotels on this side of peninsula mean that for most of the time you're completely on your own on the sand. And you can walk for miles without meeting anyone! However, when...

"We stayed here for two nights on our journey down the east coast. The bedroom and bathroom were huge with all the amenities you'd expect, even English channels on the TV. The pool is fabulous and the location on the beach is perfect. We went half board and were satisfied with the meals. However if we were staying longer I probably would just do b&b."

"From the greetings on arrival to the moment of departure, the staff and owners were only too happy to assist us. If you are looking for a place to relax and hang by the pool or walk down laneways for 10 minutes to a great swimming beach, this place is just great to wind down from the usual tourist trails. "We greatly enjoyed our stay at this Resort. It was right on the beach, the room was beautiful, and the staff amazingly helpful. There did seem to be an everlasting towel shortage while we were there but the staff were friendly and helpful in ensuring this caused as little inconvenience as possible. I would highly recommend getting a ground level beach facing room! "

"Du 15 au 17 aout 2024. Famille de 5 avec trois enfants. Super sejour à 1,5 kms des plages de Passikudah et Kalkudah. Superbe demeure tranquille et ramassée sur elle même autour d'un patio ombragé et vert. Super petit déjeuner au bord de la piscine. À ne pas manquer! Chambres spacieuses, propres et impeccables. Seul bémol pas beacoup de variété de plats au diner mais tout est excellent!"

"Maison d’hôte sur la plage Il y aurait tout pour en faire un endroit merveilleux mais pour cela il faudrait accentuer les efforts sur le Menage, le matériel qui est cassé. Tout est laissé à l’abandon (matelas déchiré et tache sur les transats). Les baies vitrées n’ont pas du voir un chiffon depuis des années. La plage devant la maison est plein de détritus. La cuisine n’est pas formidable non plus "

"From the greetings on arrival to the moment of departure, the staff and owners were only too happy to assist us. If you are looking for a place to relax and hang by the pool or walk down laneways for 10 minutes to a great swimming beach, this place is just great to wind down from the usual tourist trails. The grounds surrounding our accommodation had lots of wildlife, squirrels, geese and even some resident eagles in the coconut palms.. For western travellers, it's handy to know that they have reasonable bar with cold beer and glasses too..A tuk tuk into town is only 5 minutes when you want to see some of the sights such as the Dutch fort."
