"The hotel staff are excellent and extremely helpful. The room was very spacious, comfortable and clean although a little old fashioned. The food was good with everyone commenting on the quality. Located near the shore front and all the shops, the disused jetty across from the hotel means it's not very picturesque on the doorstep but a 5 minute walk brings you to the parks and waterfront which is very nice. 10 minutes drive to the ferry terminal. "

"An old style house on the edge of a small village, with nice gardens and a couple of alpaca roaming around. Nice rooms and really quiet both day and night. Great breakfast sets you up for a day touring the area. Not far from Stranraer and Port Patrick so plenty of choice for eating. "
