"Bed wasnt bad, a little hard for my liking. Room was clean and I had a view of the wallace monument right out my window. Getting to the room is a chore as even though it is a newer and large hotel there are no elevators. Good tea selection. Served my needs. When I was leaving one of the workers saw me with all my bags, ran up and took my suitcase for me. That was much appreciated. Food from the restaurant is good. "

"Lack of storage space for clothes if staying more than one night. Never understood why spare toilet rolls by the side of the toilets! Men splash and it ultimately ends up on the rolls. Not hygienic Otherwise a comfortable stay "

"Staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and spacious the only negative point was the shower was very slippery and the tiled floor in the bathroom was slippery when wet. Otherwise a very lovely place to stay."

"The location was fantastic, especially if you took a train to Stirling, like I did. It was only about two blocks away. Restaurants were all around, within easy walking distance of the castle. The bed was comfortable and clean. They provided excellent tea and little goodies as well. Everything was great except the bathtub had a lot of black soap scum and even some hair at the far end. Luckily, I keep Clorox wipes with me; I cleaned the tub when I noticed it, as it was after hours and no one was...

"We loved our stay at the Oak Tree Inn! We stayed in a deluxe double, which felt like we were staying in a castle. The staff were kind and super helpful, and the location is fantastic for hiking Conic Hill! The food was also scrumptious. All in all a great retreat in Loch Lomond. We would book again."
