" All excellent with exception of sercice in restaurant morning of Dec 27th. This is NOT a reflection of the chef of waitress but caused by fact thet were the ONLY two on duty.They were doing best they could 45 mininutes from order to seving. Mgt has to ensure proper staffing. Regards, Grant King"

"Our stay was not bad. We book our stay so we could have a diferent christmas, the hotel does not have breakfast so we have to pay extra for it only to find out the cafe is closed for the holidays. Plus the parking is not free. However it was a good stay, the kids loved the pool and the room was clean."

"Jane [host] was very friendly and helpful. We arrived in the middle of a severe weather alert [rain and high winds], and just felt very comfortable. Room was excellent - fun to watch the wind , rain and waves outside our window.. Breakfast was great and the the company - another couple from Scotland] were most interesting. Before we left Jane gave us some tips on places to stop along the Cabot Trail."
