"A very nice traditional hotel. Rooms were clean and nice size. There is limited parking in front of hotel and parking on the adjacent street. Staff were courteous and attentive to service. A Kolin resident told me we were staying in the best hotel in Kolin. We were very satisifed with everything. Breakfast, included, was well appointed. Internet WIFI in the room worked perfect."

"We got a call on our way there to check all was OK. When we arrived we were checked in super-efficiently and with great understanding that we were really tired. We were asked for dietary requirements so that we had suitable food for breakfast, which were there just as requested next morning. We were asked about dinner and a table was reserved at a nearby restaurant. We subsequently cancelled (1 person asleep) and were given plates and cutlery and glasses for things I got from a nearby...

"Lovely hotel, nice furnishings, quick check in, well located. Welcome relief after travelling and loved the Nespresso machine in the room. Only downside was we were behind reception, next to the carpark, bar and stairs. So some disturbance from noise and not able to leave the window open so the room was warm. The breakfast was varied and plentiful. Lovely overall"

"This is an unusual property but served us well for a short visit. We booked at the last minute and our options were limited, next time I might prefer to be in the city center, but this is conveniently located next to the “Bone Church”. It would be great for a family with children, although I don’t think that we were the only childless guests."

"The room was listed with A/C and it was my main reason to book it. But it was not any A/C. We could not sleep well during hot summer night. We slept with open windows. "I stay in hotels at least 100 days year, all over US and Europe. The hotel is a great building with tons of character and the location is great to visit this unique town including the bone church. However, check-in was very difficult. We arrived at 4 pm. There was no answer at the door. We had an email promising a second email with further check-in instructions. The second email never came. Without help from Hotels.com, we never would have gotten the code to the lockbox to let ourselves...
