Valentina is an excellent host, very attentive, great communicator, very responsive. Bol is a wonderful town, small, quiet, quaint, easy walk to Zlatni Rat, perhaps the best beach in Croatia. "This is an excellent place to stay in Bol, on a quiet side street in the historic area, a short walk to the waterfront restaurants and shops. There are a few sterile modern “resort” hotels in Bol, but staying with Ivana and Ivan in part of their stone family home is far superior. Our rooms were up steps and included a full kitchen, private covered patio, and garden. Bol is a delightful mix of local activity (fishing, wine and olive oil making, historic sites, small grocery stores, friends...
