"I have stayed in this hotel for more than 2 weeks, as a student, and I can say how there were very friendly staff at the reception, to the excellent service provided to me for breakfast, to the clean well designed rooms; it was a great stay and value for money. "Lovely, historic building. Views from our room were bucolic and wonderful. The grounds were peaceful, pretty, and well maintained. On site restaurant fabulous! Beds, not so comfortable. Chose this hotel for all of the above and AC. The AC did not work which made sleeping in July a challenge for these Americans used to that amenity. Even though, I would recommend this hotel for the charm, staff, location, and restaurant."

"Hotel VIP was tired and dark, certainly in need of refurbishment. However the bed was one of the comfiest I had slept in. Hotel staff were very helpful despite lack of English and professionalism in appearance. If you are looking for a nice hotel whilst travelling this probably is not for you, but if you are travelling with business and all you need is somewhere to sleep and freshen up this is a reasonable priced hotel. Did not try the breakfast as the as the area was full of what appeared...

"A real gem of a hotel hidden away but well worth a stay. I stayed for two night son business and nothing was too much trouble. Hotel is easy to find. Parking is free and secure. The hotel has a real welcoming ambience and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. I had an early morning check-out and the hotel opened up reception just for me! Thank you.
