Bill is incredibly knowledgeable about the pazo’s history both of the family that owned it and general history of the area. There are quite alot of cats and a few dogs around so it may not be the place for you if you aren’t keen on animals."

But at breakfast Miguel reprimanded us twice for ordering coffees only for two of us and breakfast for our son although we received approval from the owner. "A pesar de utilizarlo practicamente para dormir, el tener el baño en una planta y las habitaciones en otra, (viajamos con un niño discapacitado), acarreaba bastantes inconvenientes. La cocina y el baño, bastante pequeños. Por lo demas,... Correcto. Nada de ruidos, tranquilo, con vistas. Volveremos, pero con otras condiciones de casa. Recomendable"

"Hotel muy bonito y con muy buena apariencia pero solamente en fotos, las cuales no se corresponden para nada con la realidad. En primer lugar, la apariencia desde fuera da miedo, típico hotel del resplandor. Al hacer el check in fue un desastre ya que no localizaban nuestra reserva. La recepcionista estaba muy perdida. "Dormir en un castillo siempre tiene sus peculiaridades, a pesar de que, como en este caso, se haya hecho una buena reconstrucción y se haya adaptado para dar servicios de restaurante y alojamiento mas que dignos. Nos dieron una pequeña suite irregular, aprovechando las estancias del castillo, que tenia a modo de terraza, un pasillo de piedra con las almenas originales a dos vistas preciosas del entorno.
