"Rooms displayed on website look nothing like the rooms you receive. We had two rooms. Both were small, dark and smelly. The bathrooms smelled like old water. One room was cleaned daily, the other room was not touched by cleaning staff in three days. Neither room had hung door cleaning request. They just came in to one room but not the other. "This is a very unique property which we enjoyed very much. We had read the the reviews so we knew that it could be loud from the city square. It was! But we were prepared. We also knew that there was no AC and it happened to be unusually hot weather. But we asked for fans and they were provided the next day. No complaints from us. if you want modern-go to a modern hotel. We LOVED the history of where we were staying. We would have appreciated having coffee in the room instead of just tea...

"I had two weeks Christmas vacation. This is the only bad experience in lodging. First of all we arrived at about 1pm in Torun, then I only get one instruction email, while I was waiting for lunch, I was communicating with the owner/ customer service of the instructions. As normally you should get two set of pass code, one for the apartment door. As she said the audio on the phone is not good, she asked me to text her. After I text her, she sent a six digit PIN code. This means it was very quiet all day and night, and making sitting on the room balcony a very pleasant experience. Room very well equipped and with modern furnishings. Excellent breakfast too."
