"Really great room for the price, with soft and harder chairs and a good sized desk for working; Bathroom was well appointed with large walk in shower cubicle and plenty of towels on a heated rail; Tea / coffee, etc, supplied on a tray and a small fridge provided for personal use with 'top up' supplies provisioned in a cupboard on the landing; Room was very quiet regarding adjacent rooms but some road noise, etc, apparent for road-facing rooms; Car parking for approx 6 vehicles in a private...

When we arrived, we were told that they did not have a reservation for us and when we showed the email confirmation, we were told that they did not work with Hotels.com and that they did not have the rooms available. We were able to resolve the situation eventually, but not a pleasant nor welcoming experience!"

"Very good, very welcoming, property very clean. Very old property but lovely, alot of original features. Lovely big garden for afternoon tea but unfortunately didn't get to use it. Really enjoyed our stay. Also had our dog with us and was made very welcome."
