"Right next to train station so very convenient if you are traveling by train. Several good restaurants and the old town are within a short (maybe 8 min.) walk. One word of caution…it says AC but hotels in the area do not turn on AC until May 1st no matter how hot it may be in April!"

"Very nice hotel, we paid a bit extra and stayed on the 4th floor, a lovely view of the ocean over the tops of nearby buildings, and a very very clean hotel, Michelle and Ashley were the most friendly and helpful registration / front desk attendants I've met, we rented and rode around on the electric bikes, right there next to the front lobby, SO Convenient !!! Will stay here again next time we visit ! Thank you ! John and Diane"

"The staff at Castillo Monticello were very helpful. Upon check in, we were given information about beaches and towns and how to get there. The hotel provided transportation to and from the port. We will stay there again."

"Small room with very hard uncomfortable bed & pillows. Bathroom OK. Hotel is new but is situated between a main road & a train line so nowhere is really quiet. There was grit on the floor but otherwise clean. The girl who initially received us was very grumpy. "

"We picked this quaint little hotel at the spur of the moment decision to drive up that way because it had a hot springs pool and it was about 10 min drive to the Saturnia Hot Springs Falls. Which is probably what brings most outsiders there. It’s Very quiet but We really had a pleasant stay for our 2 nights and that was all we really needed. It definitely has more of a bed and breakfast cozy feeling while sitting on their patio sipping coffee/wine and wearing a robe around the pool. The owner...

Excellent breakfast, nice variety, excellent coffee. Very good internet connection. Large bathroom ( a bonus in Europe). We will come back!!!"
