"An excellent hotel, right in the middle of all the action whilst the carnival was taking place. They even supplied ear plugs, hat and other trinkets so we could enjoy the proceedings. We will definitely be returning."

"The hotel’s location in the center of the town is excellent. The restaurant and bar area has a lovely ambience, but food is a little expensive. Our room was basicit was the cheapest, but it was clean and perfectly adequate. If we came again, we would bring a hairdryer the one that was there was virtually useless, and the plugs are on the opposite side from the bed so an extension lead would be useful if you want to have the phone charging by your bed. "The location of the hotel was excellent even there was a road construction next to it. The receptionists were so helpful and polite. The room was cold for me and they heated after I complained. First of all I was confused and thought the contraction of the room were unfinished. The ceiling, unpainted walls... One of my friend said that it is kind of an Eindhoven, Holland style. "Slow and inconsiderate greeting - took 3 buzzes of the bell to get the gate to open to allow us through to the car park. Room was tiny. And hostess showed no willingness to help with baby cot. No netting on windows so minimal privacy. Television not working - missed the Euros. Bed mattress tiny, spongey and very uncomfortable. Food was great - but waitress slow and lacked attention. "

"Advertised as 4 star, but inside room evac.plan says 3 star . In reality a 3 star bar and restaurant and 2 star rooms. Rooms tired, i.e. walls dirty, wallpaper peeling, furnishings old, badly scratched, cobwebs, broken window fastening, mould in bathroom, shower eithef too hot or cold, toiletries (only soap dispenser) cheap. Bar closed before 2200hrs (staff said as only 4 customers it was pointless staying open) and would only offer beer, wine or tea after 2145hrs. When we made comment to...

"Good hotel about a 15 minute walk from town centre. Staff are friendly. Good value. A bit of road noise, but there are rooms on the other side of hotel which will be quieter. Amble parking and easy access. This is my 2nd time I've stayed and would recommend."
