"There was a warm and friendly welcome. The room was very clean and so was the bathroom. Bed was comfortable. It is a budget hotel, obviously rather old with idiosyncratic shaped rooms and corridors. No lift so if you are on the upper floors and struggle with mobility not for you. The hotel has limited parking at £6.00 per day. Hotel is right on the seafront and only minutes from the town centre and shops. Lounges rather basic and sparse."

"This is an excellent hotel. Modern, stylish and located right in the heart of Exeter. For Americans who might not know: you can't actually take a taxi or drive right into the city center. Several blocks around the cathedral and in the district are pedestrian-only. So you get dropped off a couple of blocks from the property and have to walk the rest of the way. But it's still worth it: this hotel had great service, good amenities, and is worth it."

Offwell: Lane between Widworthy Court and Colwell Barton Looking Southwest Narrow lane typical of this part of Devonshire with high hedges on either side. The farm vehicle in the distance had just gone past me as I stood well back in the hedgerow. As with most country folk, the young farmer was most courteous as he drove slowly past.
