"Property was very clean, excellent bathroom, bed comfortable and had laundry facilities downstairs. The kitchenette needs some maintenance, only one cook top stove worked and there is no microwave. Overall a good stay. "

Things to note: Checking was easy at a self checkin machine we only saw one member of staff at breakfast. This was not a problem for us. You are right next to a train line, bring ear plugs as there is no air-con so you will want the windows open in the summer and the freight trains at night are LOUD! Ear plugs fix this though. "We spent one night here whilst touring around Switzerland. It’s a lovely hotel on the side of a hill overlooking Lake Walensee. Hotel is in good order. As with virtually all hotels in Switzerland, there is no air conditioning so it is recommended to take a mini fan with you if visiting in the middle of summer. "

"We just spent one night, but the beds are very comfortable and they allow us to do a late check in because we were driving up from Italy. Buffet breakfast that was included with the hotel was amazing. We’re going to be back in the area in April and we are going to book this hotel again!"
