"Wonderful one night stay. The bed and comforter for me was very cozy! Located on the main street of Villach to access shops, restaurants, and about 10 minutes to the train station. "

"We stayed for 1 night travelling from Salzburg to Venice. A clean and friendly family feel to this place in a spectacular location with supermarket couple of mins drive away. Staff were welcoming and helpful and supplied a good breakfast. Our room was fairly basic but gave what was required but we did have to report a running toilet and the room got very hot due to heatwave and lack of any air con. Balcony was an added bonus. "

"We loved this place! It was lovely. The hotel was run by a family that was very sweet, helpful, and kind. They made our stay perfect. Breakfast was good and the rooms really nice. It was easy to walk to skiing, shopping, and restaurants from this place."

"Well located, very comfortable bed. Hard to park- room keys did not work to open garage door and reception closes at 6pm and restaurant around 11pm so not possible to get help if one gets there late. Parking close by is expensive."

"What a wonderful and interesting place to stay! I almost couldn’t leave and explore as there’s so much to see within the premises. My particular room would not be many people’s choice of decor but it was such a talking point and did not deter from the comfort. This hotel could never be called boring and the restaurant was incredible with absolutely fabulous food. The staff were fantastic and so accommodating and warm. "Nice Hotel in quite location. Off road safe parking for motorcycles. Arrived early and room wasn't ready but told they would make it up next. Owner very accommodating and helpful (as were all staff). Room had balcony and view to rear. Restaurant was closed the night we stayed but a 5 minute walk up the road is a bar and restaurant with good food. Good stopping point if intending to ride the GrossGlockner High Road."

"We had a really nice overnight stop at Vitranc Hotel. The staff member, Milos, was extremely polite and super helpful. Room was comfortable and warm. Breakfast was great. The hotel is in a beautiful small village near the bigger ski resort village. "

"Beautiful views and pleasant staff. The decor is a little older and could use some renovation. But the staff was abundantly friendly and helpful. The food was average for a half board (hit and miss depending on the cook), and there is no place for lunch (have to go into the village). And will only sell drinks for dinner (no tap water provided) However, the hotel has succeeded in having the absolute worst cup of coffee in the world for the breakfast. It puts K-cups to shame. "We arrived late at night to the hotel, reception was closed but the owner had left an envelope with everything we needed for our stay with a warm handwritten note (including instructions to get a beer from the fridge!) The room was clean and spacious, the property well maintained, and breakfast next morning delicious. Would definitely stay here again!"

Beautiful hotel

"Beautiful hotel with beautiful surroundings. The family running the hotel were very friendly and welcoming. We stayed for 3 nights, the room was cosy, well decorated and very clean. The breakfast was also very good. Only minor improvements I would recommend would be providing a fan for the room (it was a hot few days in Austria, and the room was quite warm at night). Additionally, a mirror in the bedroom close to a plug for using the hair dryer would be useful (there was a mirror in the bathroom, but no plug nearby). We'll definitely stay here again in the future."
