"Room was huge and in the main in good condion. However noticeable it was one of the ones not yet updated. Bathroom was worn and old fashioned and needed a complete redo. Sofa bed when as a couch was faux leather and quite damaged. Upon complaining I was kindly offered 2 other rooms but athough these were modernised and newly updated in the end I stuck with original room due to the extra space, how bright it was and the amazing 8th floor view. "The hotel was really lovely. Decor had been lovingly thought about and the owners are very much hands on. They have spent a lot of time getting the hotel to perfection. Room was extremely comfortable and quiet too. Large room and large bathroom. They had run out of croissants and pastries at 9am (breakfast finishes at 9.30). I didn’t ask so perhaps there were more available."
