"Jayden, Megan and Shawn were friendly and helpful and kind. The hotel is very very old but beautiful and the beds clean and comfortable. The hotel is right in the water so you fall asleep to water lapping at the walls. The hotel is also super convenient as it is right next to the main shopping street. Highly recommend"

"We have stayed at the Kveldsro for a week plus on two occasions, and really enjoyed ourselves each time. The hotel is not a new building, but as a result is full of character. The rooms are very comfortable and the bathrooms fairly recently updated. The dining room and many of the bedrooms have a wonderful view over the Lerwick harbour. "Very shabby hotel. Were told we couldn’t open the window due to hatching birds (!) and there was no A/C. Had paid for a triple room, but one of the beds was a roll-away stuffed into a twin room, with very little room left to move around. The roll-away bed collapsed every time someone sat on it, but they had to send staff twice to check because they didn’t believe us. Were finally offered a single room free of charge.
