"Nice room. At back of hotel so not too near the busy road so no road noise. We have dogs and found it difficult when taking them out in evening as door locked when trying to get back in. Had no idea as was not explained. Luckily an employee let us in. No one spoke English. "

We were met at the gate and given a tour of the house and grounds and shown the many amazing antiques and the unique salons. "It was nice to have a pool for the kids. But it is really dark. The staff is really nice and friendly. But for the price the hotel needs to update. It could be set iup to have more inviting public spaces. Sections such as the salon and the pool are very dated. Staff is very friendly and helpful which goes a long way."
