"The staff were very friendly and the area was ideal. Set in the heart of downtown, nearly everything was within walking distance, and the train station was less than a ten minute drive away. The path along the water was a huge selling feature for us. We enjoyed a daytime walk to the park with our youngest, and an evening romantic stroll as well. Breakfast was free and included. Parking was additional at $15/day which we didn't realize, but not a huge deal. Would go back again."

"Gordon on front desk was amazing. I had to find somewhere last minute to stay and I had a lot going on. Gordon problem solved, was patient and couldn't have been more professional or helpful. A little bit far to walk places for older person, but that's not the hotel's fault."

"Fantastic free breakfast. They also had a pantry with snacks. Spacious rooms. Clean rooms and bathroom. The staff was wonderful! The only things we did not like was how hard the bed was and there were not a lot of food option nearby. It was about a mile to the GO train. "

"This is a downtown Hamilton property gem in a depressed area of town. It is conveniently located across from the conference centre. The drawback is that there are many homeless people milling about the dirty and busy streets in the immediate neighbourhood. The property itself was nicely decorated for the holiday season, staff were friendly and helpful and the place was very clean. We would return and recommend."

"Staff and rooms are very nice. The only complaint we would have is that we could not control the temperature in the room…it was blowing out cold air. Nov. 23rd nights are cooler. "
