"I had a group of 16 staying at the lodge and we all absolutely loved it! The facility was lovely and the rooms were very nice. The staff especially are very welcoming and kind. Best experience was walking out of the restaurant after dinner and seeing an elephant standing in the middle of the path. 10/10 would recommend!"

"The facilities are new and beautiful. They overlook the small crater lake Munyanyange which hosts birds year round and lesser flamingoes in July/August. The staff are excellent. The chef is superb! Very close to a gate for Queen Elizabeth. Staff helpful in arranging tours and walks as desired. An up and coming location, I believe. It can be hard to find initially as Google maps doesn’t have the back roads of Katwe, only the main road. If a sign goes down, you will need to ask directions...

"The grounds were absolutely stunning at the hotel! The rooms were very large with all the amenities you could need. We did have a couple of issues with bugs indoors but I’m sure that goes along with the thatched roof. The restaurant had an amazing variety of good food on the buffet. The thing that takes this place to the top is their service and the wonderful people they employ. We arrived at around 11:00 pm after a grueling drive. I’m sure everyone was tired and wanting to call it a night....

"A nice property, but certain aspects could be improved. The staff were friendly and attentive, the property's location is beatiful and fun with the occasional hippos showing up in the garden. The "room" was spacious and offered good privacy. However, the food was nothing really special (compared to other - sometimes cheaper - places in Uganda) and unlimited drinking water should be a given at this price."

"AMAZING! This was a last minute add-on to our itinerary and this was a blessing. The property is beautiful. You have to go down a long dirt road via two gates, but once you arrive, your jaw will drop. Staff, resturant, grounds, views, rooms, EVERYTHING was just amazing. They were not busy at all -- This was worth every penny. All food (fruit, veggies, and meat/animals) is raised on the property (except for the tuna). A very neat concept and they should be very proud. You get to wake up and see...
