"This was our second time staying at this hotel (a family member had recommended it), and we were really happy with both of our stays! The hotel is centrally-located with a Mexican bar/restaurant right next door; both times we stayed there, we had no issues with outside noise. No air conditioning units, just a vertical fan. The rooms are big and comfy and the WiFi is great! "

In its absence, I had to make a local call but I had to borrow a phone from someone locally since I couldn’t make it from my phone that’s from other country."

"It was very pleasant stay with attentive service. You must pay attention to the messages sent from the hotel. We lost in translation that the lobby checkin is closed from 1100 to 1700. The breakfast was superb and the dinner local wine list was excellent quality"

"We checked in on a Sunday afternoon, there was a note saying where to find a phone to call reception. This was answered straight away. The key to the room was on a board by the phone and I had been told where the room was. The entry for the hotel in the website said there was a restaurant but it was closed. "So time of year is a major factor when booking at this hotel as with most authentic German hotels there is no AC in the rooms. Avoid a sunny room because masonry buildings retain heat from the day. The breakfast room and courtyard dinning were superb."
