"Big appartment for a budget rate, close enough to the ferry port and nearby supermarkets to allow for walking to and from, but let down by provision of dirty teatowel, hard floors and thin ceilings resulting in no sleep possible until after midnight due to noise (talking and movement) from above. Lack of utilities' instructions meant that coffee maker unusable. Reasonable overall but could be better. Although WiFi signal strong, couldn't get it to connect."

"A fantastic view (sea and the port) and a nice room with a comfortable bed. SPA is free and we enjoyed Sauna, Jacuzzi and the little pool. We had one of the most fascinating views including the sunrise in the morning from the hotel room and then in the evening sunset just the other side of the hotel. To the main railway station is about 10-15min walk and the city centre is just other side of the railway station. The beach is just opposite to the station. Just 5min walk from the station you...

"A brilliant construction and location in the stunning gorge location. Lovely room and large patio to enjoy breakfast alongside the roaring river. Parking was manageable at the roadside, and the lift ideal between floors. The owner and waitress were charming and informative, but we were both startled and disappointed at the continuing grumbles from the receptionist, especially when asked about messages that my daughter had sent there."

"The shower has nothing where to hang the hose, so you have to hold the hose with one hand and try to use the soap with your free hand. I am not used to this torture. No curtains or contaiiner for the water so all the bathroom gets wet. Bad mood of the manager, impolite at worse."

"Great access to lovely beach, although it does shelve quite steeply so not so suitable for small children. Beach faces west so lovely sunsets. Chalets are adequate. Much nicer than mobile homes/caravans, although they are fairly basic. Unfortunately the kitchens do not have either an oven or kettle although this is not uncommon.
