"An ok hotel for an overnight stay. The best part is the proximity to a Carrefour supermarket to get food and snacks. The worst part is that the rooms are extremely basic without even tea and coffee making facilities "

"We havexstayed at this hotel quite a few times on the way through France. The room is small but becauseit isnonly for one night this is not a problem.it is clean and the staff are pleasant and helpful. However there always seems to be a niggle with the room. This time the air-conditioning wasn't functioning , the time before the flush on the toilet kept running . I feel the hotel needs a refurbishment."

The first room we have been given was not cleaned and very dusty, luckily the staff were very understanding and relocated us in a better room. "This hotel is for you if you want a rustic experience in the middle of the mountains on a very winding, steep and narrow road. I had a business meeting in the nearby town of Cours and thought that this little hotel would be a good place for the night before. It was fine for a one night stay but would be not so great for longer. The good news is that there were no obvious mosquitoes, good because we had to leave windows open due to very poor air circulation otherwise in the stuffy rooms. We were...

"Nice reception and breakfast areas, but room dated and worn, with mould on windows. More often than not only cold water in shower. Could really need a renovation. Breakfast fine, but perhaps a bit overpriced for what you get. Staff polite and friendly, but not overly helpful. Location in Fleurie is excellent. If rooms were properly renovated, this would be a good choice. "

"Heel gezellig hotel met erg goed restaurant (er zijn twee menu's, een goedkoop en een wat duurdere, wij kregen (leerden we achteraf) alleen het duurdere te zien wat heel prima was, ook qua prijs kwaliteit verhouding). Vanuit een aantal kamers heb je prachtig uitzicht over de wijnvelden. Gezien de mooie en fijne ligging (tov de route de soleil) en het gebodene denken wij er zeker terug te komen. "

How to do a hotel badly.

"Very disappointed to find no lift in Hotel, we both have mobility issues, which made us basically room bound, as we were on 2nd floor. room was very poorly maintained, painted wall were very poorly done, by amateurs by the looks of it. Electrical wires were not secure to the wall in stairwell. paper cups for Tea and Coffee were so flimsy, and small, when hot they basically went vet soft, and were dangerous to handle. Avoid this place like the plague."
