"This is an older property, the third floor bedrooms were chilly and generated a lot of condensation which was uncomfortable to sleep in. Generally the rooms just need updating but the communal areas are well looked after and much warmer. "

"Very friendly staff at St Leonards and every part of my stay was so easy. Food prepared and served quickly and the room was very clean. Only downside was if you have a room at the front of the hotel it becomes very noisy at night as the hotel is right on the A31."

I deducted one star was because the pool was shut for one of the days i stayed & the lodge is totally cashless, though the staff were very understanding that i only had cash on the first day & waited to take the room deposit. The room was a little tired but still nice, and the bathroom floor could have done with a good clean, but the rest of the bathroom was spotless. "Well placed only a 10 minute walk from the beach. Needs some TLC and a good clean up around the outside of the building and grounds, there is no excuse to leave rubbish and litter lying around especially in the areas customers walk past, it gave the wrong impression. However once inside all is fine. Lovely breakfast. "
