"This is a grand building that has a wonderful history. It is a little tired in places, but is undergoing refurbishments. The staff were all so lovely and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. It benefits from views of a lovely spacious lawn, the castle and the sea. We definitely hope to return."

"Honestly cannot fault The Pier House. We stayed for one night for a couples getaway and from check in to check out we were so impressed! The lady who checked us in (I’m gutted we didn’t get her name!) was so friendly, explained everything and showed us to our room. We received a complimentary upgrade and our room was beautiful with a harbour view and everything you could need!
