Many generations of her family have tended the winery upon which this beautiful boutique hotel is built. Our room was spacious and very comfortable with beautiful views of the vineyards. The views of the land are breath taking, walking around the beautiful property and enjoying the pool was relaxing (we had good sunny weather..the pool was on the chilly side but we and eventually 2 other couples all went in for a refreshing dip!) We really enjoyed the intimate tour of the wine making area and did a tasting, bought a 20 year tawny and 2 vintage ports ( we already had been in Porto and the valley...
