"This hotel says it is 4 star hotel. I would definitely not agree. The location is beautiful nature area near the water but the property is in serious need of attention. The immense amount of cobwebs in the pergola covered walking areas and dead vegetation in the gardens was frankly depressing and creepy. The carpet was in need of replacement 20 years ago easily. No A/C in Denmark is normal but what I don't understand is, if you KNOW everyone will have to open the windows, why wouldn't they have...

Our room was very spacious and there was a common kitchen for cooking which we took advantage of as there was a grocery store close by (short drive but would have been walkable). Lots of character. Hence, this is more of a criticism of the platform hotels.com because we received an email that said the booking is confirmed and only much further down the email in small print did it notify that we needed to contact the property 24 hours in advance to make arrangements for access to property. Further down the line, it indicated only a phone number for special requests....

"Der var masse af spindelvæv og fluer på værelserne. Desværre heller ikke færdiggjorte lysinstallationer på værelserne så det var svært at orientere dig når det var mørkt udenfor. Udenfor heller ingen belysning så man selv skulle have pandelampe. Sengene hårde - manglede blød overmadras - kun en tynd billig en. Til gengæld serveres god mad og venlig smilende betjening - desværre også mange fluer i spiselokalet og ingen tiltag til at holde den væk fra maden. Så alt i alt ikke en god oplevelse til...
