"The property claimed it was a bed and breakfast, but it was a dorm type of living. I arrived at night and all I saw were single men outside at the gazebo. I was traveling with my family for an emergency death in the family and this did not feel like a safe space for me, my family, or my belongings. I decided to go to Palaysia for $30 more than this price. Do not stay here unless you are single and leave no valuable items in your room!"

"Disappointing since I stayed there a long time ago. It’s under new management who have not kept up the hotel. The restaurant and bars are closed. The complimentary breakfast consisted of hard boiled eggs, white toast —no jam, butter, rce jook, spicey rice noodles, picked vegetables, cabbage slaw, Black Chinese tea. They tried to accommodate me with instant coffee and milk. Workers are nice. Basically for Chinese visitors. "

"The S&C is a small one-bedroom apartment with a small kitchen and a decent size living room. The staff was incredible, however, the facility is dated. The bathroom needs some serious updating, and it should be noted that you can not flush toilet paper in the toilets. The kitchen has a stove but the experience would really be upgraded with a microwave (the Executive Bar heated items in their microwave for me). "This is a scam please don’t book this non refundable hotel. We tried to contact them numerous times with no response and the only way to the island is via their boat. We had to book another hotel and then try and get our money back from Expedia which was refunded. They said hotel closed in 2020"
