"Convenient location Nice room but some small things need attention Window latch broken Shower screen wobbly and dangerous Smell of burning from plug in fire Nobody on reception to report this to Friendly check in No breakfast available but local shops open for coffee, fruit etc Pleasant overnight stay and bed was comfy Could be better if they address the small things that need attending to. "

"This was our third time staying at The Green Dragon on our way up to Scotland. It’s five minutes from the A1 in a characterful market town. Landlord and staff very friendly and helpful. Room had everything we needed. Bed very comfy and good quality linens. Spacious, well laid out ensuite. We ate in the bar. Good range of beers, lovely home- cooked food which was good value. Breakfast was excellent too. We will be staying again!"

"Overall good, mattress could do with replacing as it squeaked whenever you moved and window frames were mouldy and shower leaked but I would stay again. Carvery was good and parking convenient. Staff great. "

"Lovely place, twin room was spacious and en-suite shower room very nice. My only issue was as the room was lovely and warm, I needed to open the window which allowed the noise from the busy road outside to disturb me, this is my issue as being too warm bothers me, no fault at all of the establishment, the doubling glazing prevented all noise, just a warning to others if room on the front. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay otherwise and would happily recommend to others "
