"The reason for the stay was we were breaking our train journey, and this hotel is right by the station. It's a little basic but functional, and the only real criticism would be that the shower was a bit feeble. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant, and breakfast too, and both were good We'd stay again if the circumstances repeated"

"Good location near the centre, payable parking at the hotel (13€), room and bathroom decent and clean. Minor issue with hair dryer cutting out after a few seconds, reception asked us to descend 3 floors to collect a replacement rather than sending one up with a member of staff so maybe customer service could be improved a little. Other than that the staff were very pleasant and the hotel was good value for money"

"Don’t listen to the bad reviews. We stayed here thinking this would be one of the lower end hotels visited during our trip to Europe and honestly we liked it as one of the best. Our room was very clean and tidy, smelled fresh, view was nice, area was easy to catch the bus into town, the staff were helpful. Only downside is it’s a bit of a walk into the old town but we knew that when booking and the nighttime walks felt unsafe so we took the bus instead. Otherwise would stay here again. "
