"We really enjoyed our visit. The rooms were comfortable though in our instance an extra blanket would have been appreciated. Staff was friendly and the garden path was lovely to walk to breakfast. Some gluten free bread at breakfast would be a welcome addition and we had to huff on our cards to get into the room because the cold meant the card wouldn’t work, but overall I would certainly stay again."

"We loved the location, close to everything we wanted. The pool and hot tub could have beed hotter, we wanted to go in BUT it was just luke warm so we passed....rooms were nice but the lights in the bathroom were very dim, I could hardly put on my makeup. Plus there was also one lightbulb oyr in there, was too dark.. Better lighting needed.Other than that we liked our stay..."

"We stayed the night here because it was about half way home from Sacramento for Christmas. We enjoyed relaxing in the large soaking tub after our drive. The bed was very comfortable.The room was spacious and easy to adjust the temperature and included a nice gas fireplace. The included breakfast was made on-site, delivered to the room and was very tasty. We will be sure to stay here again on our next trip to Sacramento."

"The room was very clean, small but practical, a good value. There is an amazingly efficient, quiet wall heater. Where it's lagging is poor wi-fi service which was weak and would drop out. Some freeway noise, but not enough to keep me awake. The window blinds do not totally black out the light, but it was good enough for me. The grounds were spacious and gave a country-like atmosphere. All considered, I would stay here again."

"This Inn was amazing. So pretty, beautifully decorated inside and outside and the bed was perfect! The owner greeted us at our car, like we were family coming to visit. Highly recommend Hope's Inn. "

"The decor was unobtrusively part of the house, yet drew you in at the same time. A lot of thought went into making you feel welcome,and then immediately at home at the same time. Everything was spotless clean, an inviting aroma just as you walk in. Everything was explained in friendly detail. This was a 5 star experience. We will be back. A special thanks to Our hosts Renae and vinny they were exceptionally welcoming They made a special point to make sure I had a nice gift waiting. Wine...

Too Late Check In Time

" Our stay has been excellent every time we've stayed. The major downside is the late afternoon check in time. As we arrive from the immediate Bay Area about 1 - 2 pm, the 4:00 pm check in time is not early enough. Realize that staff needs time to clean, but it means that we have to figure out what to do in the area (without much direction or knowledge of area) before checking in. Is there a way to check in say by 3 pm without financial penalty? Thank you,."
