"Great location as within a two minute walk of the Old Bazaar and less than 10 minutes walk to Macedonia Square, which did mean it can be a bit noisy at night as the rooms weren't very sound proof and you could hear everything going on outside and in the corridor. The facilities were basic and the rooms could do with an upgrade, but it is a great location, good value for money and friendly staff, if you're looking for a good value, central location to stay in."

"Clean and elegant hotel right by Macedonia square so close to dining options, old Skopje, mother Teresa house, etc. My only word of caution is it’s a little hard to find from the square, so try to get clear directions when going. It is off the Main Street, in a pedestrian area so you will have to walk a bit to get to the hotel. "

"Stay at a different hotel. This one was beyond unacceptable when it came to cleanliness and customer service. The restaurants were both good. Housekeeping did not clean my bathroom on third day during my 8-day stay. I asked them to clean it for the next morning but course they didn't clean it nor did they clean it the third day. "I enjoyed the in-house restaurant. They need a sign outside that says Hotel Aristocrat. Unless you know that there is a hotel there, it appears to be just a restaurant. "

Very Pleasant Experience

"We were amazed with the hotel from start to finish. The rooms were spacious and clean and the reception staff could not be more helpful. The restaurant was exceptional with the best breakfast experience for a long time. We also had lunch and dinner there and did not want to leave, It made the whole stay in the city extra special"

Retired old postman on tour.

"Perfect for me, just a ten minute walk along the river from the city centre and five minutes from the bus station. Takes a little finding first time, but after that easy and in a quiet residential area. Room was clean and had all I needed, you do need to get in touch with the owners before arriving though, as the reception is not permanently manned. Would happily stay again when in the city."
