"This property is in an awkward area that is not bad but not "pretty". The air conditioning hardly cooled the room and was an older unit. Definitely should be updated. All this being said, the staff was AMAZING, the breakfast was FABULOUS, the amenities were better than 4 star hotels that I have stayed in and everything was super clean. Would definitely recommend if not during summer and one has a car to get to the prettier areas."

Nicole, Luigi, Guisepi, Michelo, and the rest of the staff/family including Noah the dog, made our stay at Il Cefalo truly enchanting. Being out of the main holiday season the area was quite with only one restaurant open in Ascea - but this had the advantage that the roads were quite.
