"Lots of problems with non working showers and air conditioning units. Very old units. Switched rooms after viewing 3 more. The air conditioner quit during the night, so it was very hot. Fixed the next day and then it quit again that night. I had to shut it off for an hour to thaw it out and restart. The view from the hotel is beautiful. They rooms need updating."

"The pool may look lovely, but our room was dingy, the sparse furniture was outdated by decades, the bed was extremely uncomfortable, the terrace was in a terrible state of disrepair, we had no phone and we haven't even started on the bathroom! "The stay at the property overall was really great. We only stayed for two nights, spacious rooms with no frills. Bathroom and room very very clean but a bit dated. Close to the bus stop from Portoferraio and about a 5 minute walk to the Main Street and beach in marina di campo. "

"We booked this room online in a rush and never expected such a beautiful property and nice staff. It was a perfect stay. The rooms are not luxury by the USA standards but totally adequate and very clean. The view and private balcony was unique. We chose to have their set menu for diner both nights. Food was great and they made changes to accommodate our dietary choices. "

"Wirklich großartiges Preis-Leistungsvethältnis. Schön gelegen, schöner weg zum Strand. Tennisplatz, Pool und Tischtennis und noch mehr kleine Extras im Preis enthalten, einfach super. Der Inhaber ist freundlich und gibt gerne Tipps. Kleine Mankos: Die Anlage ist teilweise etwas in die Jahre gekommen und die Ausstattung der Küche ist relativ überschaubar, aber ausreichend. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden und würden vielleicht einen halben Stern abziehen. "

"We had an amazing week at Villa Verde. The pool and the beach are great, and the staff was very friendly. The hotel is very familly friendly and a 15 min walk from the nearest town with great restaurants. The food at the beach was good and not expensive, but we found it was best to go to town for dinner except if you want to trade off a bit of quality/price to stay on side and eat eqrlier (finner open at 7:30 and service is very fast). I will go again."

"The views are amazing! The room overlooked the sea and there were lots of outdoor spaces to sit. The breakfast was great with so many pastries, meats, cheeses and the gentleman who set it up and made my cappuccino was very friendly!
