"We had a lovely weekend stay at the Angel Inn in Chippenham. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcomed. The room we booked was large and airy with a large king-size bed, a settee and a large bathroom. However, everything in the room was tired. One of the trims on the old wardrobe was coming off leaving sharp pins exposed. The settee was hard and uncomfortable as was the bed which was very firm. "I was In the old part and it needs updating badly. Excited when I saw a spa bath in my room but bath was worn around the plug area and not appealing so wasted. Toilet was stained with brown as old. Taps on sink worn and spun round a lot before water came out. "
