Get away to Malaybalay City! Enjoy the parks and more.

Let's get lost here. I'm falling in love with this place.

Slow clap. I have no words for a beauty like this. Maybe I'll never even be able to explain sufficiently how wonderful it is to be here. This is Nasuli Spring Resort. It is both a spring and a lagoon. It is surrounded by lush greeneries. The water is blue (but with a tinge of green) and measures about 15 feet deep. I have been here and I can say that the freshwater lagoon is icy cold even during the hottest time of day. What makes this special is its being uncharted. Not too many locals and tourists come here. Why not? That I don't know.

But that is why I am writing about Nasuli Spring Resort. Since this is uncommonly frequented, I want to make this known to everybody. I'd love to share this wonder with you. I may have caught bad light when I took this photo, but if you'd take time to actually search this on the Internet, you'll see that Nasuli Spring is indescribable.

According to HubPages, Nasuli is a Bisayan term which means “reversed.” The local folks named the place ‘nasuli’ because the spring’s headwaters' elevation is much lower than the lagoon. It seems that the water is flowing in reverse, thus the name ‘nasuli.’

It's quiet here. The fishes are all friendly. Yes, that's true. They'll voluntarily come to you and bite your toes or your leg while you are busy talking to your friends about how good this earthporn is. But do not worry. You'll eventually understand that their bites are like welcome statements *smiles* (they are tiny anyway)! You can even feed them. My friends and I had a good time feeding them with Rambutan seeds.

You could want to cry here, write a song or poetry, paint, dance, reminisce, get emotional or just sleep. This is an exit from the busy world. It also gave me the thought that places like this -- the ones that are almost secret and uncharted -- are the best places to travel. Literally, your heart and soul unexpectedly harmonize when you see this.

For your information, Nasuli Spring Resort is located in Barangay (village) Bangcud, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon. I hope that one day, you'll find your way to this site.

Happy travels,
Star, Iligan City, PH
