We were presented with a QR code to use!? Being technophobes I asked to order and pay for food in the normal way - I was simply handed a itablet - no instruction and no-one attended us again so after 30 mins we left and used a restaurant along the street. Not very happy about this, there appeared to be only 2 people...

"We were driving from Bordeaux to Frankfurt and chose this hotel from Expedia’s site on a Friday because it had onsite parking and a restaurant. After checking in the receptionist told us (a) the hotel’s parking area was not safe so we should not leave any bags in the car and (b) the restaurant was closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday ! We couldn’t get a refund but we found another hotel a few kms away with a secure parking lot and two restaurants, so we relocated. "

"The rooms are old and in need of an update. We only had nets at the window, no curtains to stop the morning light. One of the bedside lights was not working. The website advertised at evening restaurant, this is now no longer open."
