"Spotlessly clean room with a rack for my suitcase and somewhere to put unused cushions so as to keep them off the floor. Not a lot of interaction with staff but what there was was pleasant and helpful. I guess my biggest concern was what would happen if the lift broke down as I certainly couldn’t have managed the stairs. No tea (or other hot drink) making facilities, but that’s not the end of the world."

"Ibis is well situated for the centre of Angers but lacks easy loading/unloading now .Paid parking is about 200 metres away but is often full . Rooms are small but comfortable; linen provided is just about acceptable unless you are a large person !"

"I received a warm welcome from Celine, who spoke very good English, and she advised on where to eat, what to do and what not to miss during my short visit to Angers. The hotel is very conveniently located for the station and a 10 minute walk from the chateau. My room was very clean and comfortable and I slept well. It was quiet. Breakfast featured a variety of fresh fruits, breads, croissants and cereals, hard boiled eggs, ham and cheese, accompanied by good filter coffee. I was very satisfied!"

The restaurant beside hotel is really wonderful, great atmmosphere and fantastic food at not an overcharged amount too, very good value. This property while modern is a gem, we benefited from a comfortable clean and pleasant family room, with a window opening up onto their rear garden area.
