"Property advertises on-site parking, but all parking is off-site in a nearby (3-5 minute walk) covered parking garage -- the hotel provides an in/out pass for 6-7 euro daily rate. Lots of parking space there, but it does require driving around a wide circle of one-way streets to go between the parking and the hotel, or vice-versa On-site breakfast buffet was decent, including an automatic multi-coffee beverage machine. Our "Superior Suite" was pleasantly laid out, but had a few defects which...

"This was a wonderful stay and location. Our check-in was easy and the receptionist was very friendly and gave us great dinner recommendations. The view from the hotel looking out at the castle at night was stunning. The hotel is also right off the main street and we walked to the old part of town in less than 5 minutes. Highly recommend and we'd stay there again. "

"Discover central Portugal and make this hotel your top priority for a stay. The front desk staff is exceptional. The best breakfast I've experienced in Portugal was here. The adjacent restaurant is top-notch, and there are choices of several restaurants well worth visiting. I could not have had a better experience in any hotel in the entire country."

"Stunning location and staff couldn't have been more helpful. Had some problems finding it as signs to Pousada were poor, and no directions available. Parking is limited at hotel, although there is sufficient within walking distance. Steep slopes and steps to hotel itself, with no vehicle access, so you will need to carry your luggage some distance, although staff were happy to help. Once in the hotel however, the rooms, restaurant and support were excellent. Well worth a visit for the view...

"We stayed in a "Superior Double Room, Terrace, Mountain View". This was a cozy attic room, with modern windows w/shutters, a comfortable king bed, and a gentle/quiet heating system (needed in February). There was also a separate heat pump system, which we did not use. Nicely equipped room, quiet and comfortable. But the shower ran out of water (not just hot water, but all water) on our final morning, probably due to other guests on the lower floors(?). This is why our overall score is only...

"Great location. Friendly staff and centrally located. Street parking available and a lot just a few minutes walking. "

"We booked two rooms overlooking the square. Each room was clean and very comfortable. The only odd thing is the glass wall to the bathroom. We are not used to this type of openess. Didn't ruin our stay but definitely a thing to think about if sharing a room with someone your not married to. Could get weird quick. The hotel was centrally located as well and close to the knights Templar castle. Overall, it was a great stay"
