"we booked the property based on the very appealing restaurant pictures. However the restaurant was closed and alternative dining options are very poor. We couldn't even order some hot coffee during the afternoon as all the machines were off. The village is ok(ish) but good luck using your card for paying, it seems they got stuck in 2015 as cash is the only option. The hotel's pool, spa and breakfast were good."

One issue for us - we may have been placed into an accessible room - the bathroom light was tied to the door of the bathroom opening - there was no way to control the light other than the door (I asked). If you use the bathroom at night, and do not want the light to come on - you had to pull your key out of the main switch at the wall which cut all power...

"There were renovations taking place during our atay which made finding the building difficult to find as the hotel sign was covered. Make sure you don't show up early for check-in as the doors are locked during certain parts of the day and only accessible with a key you receive when checking in. "I can't say enough about Zur Linde. It is a beautiful charming hotel set in the most beautiful area of Germany. The hotel staff is wonderful - Christian who runs the hotel and also is the chef is great and his food is really good. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. "

"Great view of the Rhein River and easy access to many places to eat. You can hear the trains go by on the opposite side of the Rhein which was OK with us. What was not OK was the two buses of high school kids that arrived the night before we left. Every 15 to 20 minutes until :30 am. It was terrible. First night was great."
