The pool was amazing, just what was needed after a long drive. Everything was extremely clean and very well looked after. Lovely stay"

"Very poor, booked on the basis of 8 out of 10 rating but honestly not sure who posted these reviews. Booked a second night for the following week ( non refundable) and couldn't bring myself to return so booked a different hotel meaning more than double the cost. No water in the shower, no food and damp bedding. Service was poor and I was made to feel unwelcome. Stayed at the Ibis budget and felt like a rock star compared to this place. Avoid like the plague."

"Booked this as a stopover on the way back to UK from Italy and boy did we fall lucky. We stayed in a lodge in the grounds and it was comfortable, clean and larger than we expected. However the highlight of our trip was the main building where there is a lovely bar with great staff and the outstanding restaurant. "My wife and I have been visiting Hotel St. Louis over a number of years and have never been dis-appointed. It is convenient to Channel Ferries and has safe parking. The staff are very helpful and dinner presentation and food excellent. Breakfast was also good value. Main wing of Hotel also has a lift to all floors. "
