We were a bit disappointed with the poor quality of the property and an overall musty smell especially in the corridors which have no ventilation. Its overpriced for the quality. I dont recall any AC but by opening window and (rotting) skylight the draft was sufficient for September. "

It is not the most completely appointed room you could imagine- for example there are no nightstands which seems an unnecessary cost-saving measure. "This hotel needs to be updated. The carpets on the stairs and in the rooms were threadbare. Not all the corridor light switches worked, our loo did not flush initially but my husband fixed it, as he did the showerhead which did not stay in the correct positon ( using the showercap box). There were not enough electric sockets which you need nowadays with phones etc needing charging. The free wifi was fine though. The garden was ok but a few flowers would have made it somewhere you wanted to...

"It is run down, advertised as having air conditioner but was told when we arrived that it was broken. It was an individual unit...so I asked if we could have a different room and was told they are all broken. The room itself looked clean but we opted to leave without checking in."
